Margaret has worked on an individual basis with many children and adults with learning problems. Specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADD, ADHD, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and other non-specific learning difficulties may have a physiological or neurological basis.

Problems with reading, spelling and other difficulties are often a symptom of a deeper cause.

We also use an assessment of retained primitive reflexes.  These emerge naturally in infants in a regular pattern, to help us survive in the first few months of life and to move, crawl and finally walk.  These reflexes are normally integrated into the nervous system by 3 years of age.  When these reflexes are still active in the body then this can cause learning and behavioural difficulties.

In order to learn effectively we need to have good balance and co-ordination.  Otherwise we may experience learning problems.  Sometimes children just seem to have hit a plateau and seem to make no progress. 

We use a unique combination of Brain Gym, Neuro Linguistics and Movement, the Brain and Learning to provide all the strategies to help your child begin to achieve the best they can be in life. 

An initial assessment with Magical Learning lasts about 1 hour.  The assessment includes a written report on our findings and recommendations.  We will then devise a program of  fun activities to enhance performance in the areas identified.  Many of the activities take only a few minutes each day and can be done at home.
